Where I live, it’s not until late October that the days are consistently cool enough to feel like I should be bundled up in a wine-colored, chunky sweater with cute boots and fuzzy mittens on my hands. I live in a beach community where yesterday I was wearing shorts and a tshirt while running errands. With that in mind, bright Autumn accessories, like the ones below are what I tend to wear late into the season. Pretty much after Halloween is when it really starts to feel like I should cozy up and jump into the cool-weathered fall trends.
Today I wanted to share with you my current favorite accessories that I have found myself gravitating towards during this indian summer we’ve been having.
This teal beanie is an oldie, but goodie that a friend’s friend crocheted me a long time ago, so unfortunately you can’t really get your hands on this. HOWEVER, this beanie from Neff Headwear has been on my wishlist for a long time and I have a feeling if you like my beanie, you will like it (especially in teal…check it).
The sunglasses are yet another oldie but goodie that I bought a few years back before my honeymoon to California. I got these from Forever 21 and although they are no longer carrying this pair anymore, Claires has a very similar pair on their website right now.
I am SO in love with this crystal necklace from All Washed Up Jewelry. I am also extremely proud to say that All Washed Up is co-owned (with her sister) by one of the sweetest girls I went to high school with. Ashley is a true gem and one of the most sincerely nice people I have ever met. I have another necklace from her and both of them are high quality, beautiful pieces that I wear more often that any necklaces I own. This necklace is not currently in her Etsy shop, but she does custom orders, including stamped bar necklaces with any word or short saying you would like. Go give her some love!
The last item is something I got in my latest Stitch Fix. I LOVE Stitch Fix and wish I had the money to do it every month (let’s face it, I can’t afford to buy new clothes every month, period.). If you’ve never heard of Stitch Fix, the jist is you pay a $20 styling fee and they will put together a box with five items, usually a top or two, bottoms, maybe a dress or jacket, and an accessory that comes right to your doorstep. You try the items on in the comfort of your own home (this also allows you to try items with things you already own) and decide what you want to keep. If you keep all five items, you get a 25% discount and the $20 styling fee is credited towards your purchase; if you don’t keep all five, the styling fee is still put towards your purchase. The items are a little more pricey than what I’m used to spending on clothes and accessories, but in my opinion it is worth it. I have found items that I wear on a regular basis now that I would have never even thought to try on in the store. I HIGHLY recommend trying it out! Also, when you sign up, they will take $25 off your first purchase when you get a “Fix”!
Okay, uh, back to the bracelet. It is a beautiful gold stacked cuff bracelet. What I really like most about it is that it gives you the look of multiple stacked bracelets without them clinking against each other constantly. Win. Win.
And here they are all together as I’m trying not to get stared at by my neighbors while I am (shame
lessly…okay shamefully) taking selfies.
What are your favorite fall accessories? Let a girl know!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
