I did it. I caved.
I have become OBSESSED lately with planning my life and making lists. Okay, truth be told, I have always loved making lists and I have always had some sort of planner of the years. Recently, I learned about the Erin Condren Life Planner from Elle Fowler, the YouTuber. She introduced me to the world of planning and “Plan With Me” videos. There is also a whole world on Instagram of photos of peoples planner spreads and Etsy has hundreds of shops full of stickers to decorate your planner. Three of my favorite things in one: organization, office supplies, and stickers. I am now OBSESSED. Thanks Elle! (I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking this)
A couple of weeks ago, I finally had the extra money to make a purchase with Erin Condren for a Life Planner. The base price for a Life Planner that is ready to ship is $50. You can personalize it or order it in the metallic version for a little more. All in all with a little personalizing and standard shipping, mine came out to about $65. This is definitely more than I’ve spent on a planner before, but I LOVE IT and I believe it will be so worth it!
Oh yes, I had to add pumpkins to the photos. Tomorrow after all is October 1st. 😀
Incidentally, when I first received my planner, the cover seen above was not what I received. Far from it. I actually received a personalized collage cover covered with random family photos of a family that is definitely not mine…needless to say, I was disappointed. And a little weirded out.
To make matters worse, after reaching out to customer support, I made the bad decision to start googling this issue with Erin Condren. Truth be told, apparently their quality control is not the best. It seems that random issues like what I had happen more often than you would expect from a company that is getting so popular. The blog posts and comments along those lines were a little overwhelming.
HOWEVER. After reaching out to their Facebook page along with sending an email to customer support, I came out of the ordeal with the offer to send me the correct cover (all the while getting to keep the planner I was originally sent) and a gift code for $10.95 (the price of another cover…which happened to have a BOGO sale happening). The best part of all of this was when I opened the box with what I thought was my replacement cover, they had sent me not only my cover, but AN ENTIRELY NEW PLANNER. I’m not really sure that the new planner was supposed to happen, but I am very happy with the outcome and am actually okay with the mess up I experienced!
Therefore, here I am with two Erin Condren Life Planners and I only need one. What is a blogger girl to do? Why, a GIVEAWAY of course!!
